George Floyd Memorial Service 2022

CBCA invites you to our 2nd annual virtual George Floyd Memorial on Wednesday May 25 @ 7pm. Further to the recent killing of “blacks” in Buffalo, we remain intentional and motivated to pray and pursue our plight against anti-black and all racism.

Whether you can join us or not, may we pray for unity in our City, Nation and World, amidst our differences. We encourage and remind that ”The struggle to freedom is not enslaving others – so let’s break the chains.” Wendell Gibbs

We’ll have the honor of guest speaker Archbishop Dr. Van Gayton from Florida. He presently serves on the board of advisors for Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a member of the Alliance for Black Pentecostal Scholarship, and First Vice President and Dean of Education for the International College of Bishop, based in Austin Texas. As a professor, he has over 40 years of experience and has taught subjects such as Philosophy of Religion at Jamestown Community College, The African American Religious Experience at the University at Buffalo, The Bible and Race at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
